Mr. Hermon is a Co-Founder and Principal of Blue Atlantic Partners. Previously, Mr. Hermon was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Florida Value Funds and HSL Capital, private equity funds with a real estate investment focus. Through these entities, Mr. Hermon has directed and managed investments in hotels, student housing projects, single family homes and several private businesses, including an investment in a residential multifamily owner/operator with over $2 billion in assets. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Hermon served as vice president and partner at the Challenge Funds, which managed over $250 million in assets and had investments in over eighty portfolio companies.

 

Prior to serving as vice president and partner at the Challenge Funds, Mr. Hermon was a Partner with the investment partnership Shaykin & Co., a private equity firm in New York. Mr. Hermon began his career as a Senior Associate with the investment banking department of Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York from 1996 to 1998 where he was responsible for execution of public offerings of over $5 billion and M&A transaction of over $6 billion of mostly real estate companies. 


Mr. Hermon holds a BS in Economics and Labor Relations from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Boston University.
